Shipping Policy for Commune Lifestyle

Effective Date: 1st Jan 2025

At Commune Lifestyle, we strive to ensure that your orders are processed and delivered in a timely and efficient manner. Please read our shipping policy carefully to understand how we handle shipping and delivery for orders within Malaysia.

  1. Order Processing

    • All orders are processed within 1-3 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email.
    • You will receive a notification once your order has been shipped.
  2. Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates

    • Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
    • Delivery times are estimated based on the shipping method chosen during checkout:
      • Standard Shipping: 3-7 business days
      • Express Shipping: 1-3 business days
    • Delivery delays can occasionally occur due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
    • Labor charges applicable for inaccessibilty to lift:
      • Chargeable from 2nd storey onwards, up to maximum of 5th storey
      • RM50.00 per level per item
  3. Shipping Methods

    • We partner with reputable courier services to ensure reliable delivery of your orders.
    • You will receive tracking information via email once your order has been shipped.
    • For self-collection, kindly approach staffs to assistance and co-ordination.
  4. Shipping Restrictions

    • We currently only ship within Malaysia (except Langkawi, Sabah & Sarawak) and to Singapore.
    • We do not ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
  5. Order Tracking

    • Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email.
    • You can use this tracking number to monitor the status of your delivery on the courier’s website.
  6. Delivery Issues

    • If there are any issues with your delivery (e.g., lost, damaged, or delayed packages), please contact us at enquiries.jb@thecommunelife.com with your order number and details of the issue.
    • We will work with the courier service to resolve any delivery issues promptly.
    • To ensure smooth delivery, you are obligated to ensure disposal of any existing items prior to delivery. Should you require any furniture disposal services, kindly approach our staffs for assistance. Note that any furniture disposal service requires at least 2 weeks advance booking with additional charges.
  7. International Shipping

    • We are able to ship to Singapore for purchases made in Malaysia based on the following requirements:
      • Minimum purchase worth RM5,000 or more
      • Additional 8% of total order value chargeable on top of order purchased
  8. Order Changes and Cancellations

    • If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact us immediately at enquiries@thecommunelife.com.
    • Once an order has been shipped, we cannot make any changes or cancellations.
  9. Damaged or Missing Items

    • If you receive a damaged item, please contact us within 5 business days of receipt at enquiries@thecommunelife.com with photos of the damaged item and your order number.
    • If there are any missing items from your order, please contact us within 5 business days of receipt with your order number and details of the missing items.
  10. Rescheduling of Delivery
    • You may reschedule your delivery three (3) working days in advance otherwise a rescheduling fee of RM100 will be incurred. Rescheduling of delivery may also be subject to availability.
    • Should delivery be affected due to the following factors, a rescheduling fee of RM100 will be incurred:
      • No one present to receive delivery of order
      • Refusal of entry due to building management restrictions (kindly obtain necessary permit or clearance prior delivery)
      • Incorrect delivery address provided
      • Car park height / lift size limitations
    • In the event of delay in shipment due to unforseen situations (i.e. flooding, massive road blocks, traffic accidents, etc), Commune reserves the right to reschedule the delivery, subjected to next available delivery slot.
